Literary Magazine Submissions
We are currently open to art and writing submissions for our Winter 2025 Issue!
(Submissions close on February 28)
Our literary magazine publishes quarterly. We follow a 2-round judging process that ensures each pieces is thoroughly read by two readers.
The Stirling Review looks for the unfiltered beauty of art and language, with nothing to hide behind. We value work that speaks clearly to each individual’s original writing voice. In terms of art, we look for work that uniquely speaks to each young artist’s perspective on the world around them.
We accept previously published work as long as all parties give open consent. We allow, and encourage, simultaneous submissions; however, we ask that you notify us promptly through email (stirlingreview@gmail.com) if your work has been accepted elsewhere.
We ask for publishing rights and archival rights for all submitted work, as well as the right to make minor edits to the accepted piece(s) to fit publication standards. All rights revert back to the author upon publication.
Rejected submissions will not be notified. If you have not been contacted by the end of the season, please assume that your submission has been rejected.
