Literary Magazine Submissions
We are currently closed to writing submissions for our Spring 2024 Issue, but OPEN for ART SUBMISSIONS!
Our literary magazine publishes quarterly. We review work on the last month of each season.
The Stirling Review looks for the unfiltered beauty of art and language, with nothing to hide behind. We value work that speaks clearly to each individual’s original writing voice. In terms of art, we look for work that uniquely speaks to each young artist’s perspective on the world around them. For cover art, we recommend submitting work pertaining to our current theme of Winter.
We accept previously published work as long as all parties give open consent. We allow, and encourage, simultaneous submissions; however, we ask that you notify us promptly through email (stirlingreview@gmail.com) if your work has been accepted elsewhere.
We ask for first North American publishing rights and archival rights for all accepted work, as well as the right to make minor edits to the accepted piece(s) to fit publication standards. All rights revert back to the author upon publication.
Art Submission Guidelines:
